WHAT IS SHELF-MAX™?

Shelf- max is the shelving system mobi-robe uses to support 16mm thick Melamine or Laminate shelving, cut and edged to shelf-max manufacturer's specifications. Shelving can be designed and installed to match existing timber grain or coloured laminates in your kitchen or ensuite areas to maintain or create decorative flow from those areas to your featured robes, Shelf-max can also be designed and installed in standard white melamine shelving with matching or feature edge strip. The design and colour selection possibilities are enormous but are substantially more cost efficient than solid built in joinery robes.

IS SHELF - MAX™ STRONG?

The Shelf- max system is stronger than conventional timber shelving, satisfying the Australian standards for shelving and components in the Building industry.

The system is fixed directly on to painted gyprock walls, concrete or block work.
Shelf -max is incorporated by mobi-robe into shelving designs that transfer weight directly to the floor or braced directly on to internal timber stud framing wherever applicable, to give maximum download support.

IS IT EXPENSIVE?

No! Compared to conventional painted chipboard shelving or melamine shelving on wall cleats with gap sealant, mobi-robe have saved Builders and private clientele up to 20% on materials and labour for supply and installation. On average it's value is comparable to most other shelving installed in the industry and in a lot of cases. looks better.

HOW LONG DOES SHELF-MAX™ TAKE TO INSTALL?

That depends on the individual design. In most standard designs consisting of 3 or 4 Bedrooms, 2 Linens and a Pantry, around 4-6 hours cut and install on site. Time and labour vary in each individual quotation according to the complexity of the design.

DO YOU SUPPLY DRAWER UNITS AS WELL? YES!

Mobi-Robe have a range of budget and higher quality drawer units as well as drawer and shelf combination units that are designed to match our shelving systems. We also specialise in custom drawer units to match your existing kitchen or vanity laminates.

HOW DO I GET A DESIGN AND QUOTE?

Simply click here or go to the "Get a quote" icon at the top right of any web page and fill out the simple general inquiry or quote forms then hit send. This will be forwarded to our experienced design team who will contact you as soon as is practical in relation to demand (usually within 24-48 hours for standard quotes and inquiries, or a little longer for larger or more complex needs).

We can also be contacted by phone or email. We do recommend that a clear A4 size floor plan of your house with clear robe dimensions be available. with a general description of your design requirements if possible. However, our design team is ready to discuss design options and lay out with you from scratch.
